Assembling

If this is the first time you are making a sweater garment, then remember this assembling order because this finishing method can be used on most of the garments. To block the pieces is normal at this time- either before you sew or after sewing. You can work according to your preference but there is not much benefit from blocking acrylic yarn. Wash the sweater in a gentle washing cycle and then pull the pieces to bring it back to the shape as per the schematic and let it dry flat to improve the overall look.

You have to use yarn for all the sewing.

  • To sew the shoulder seams join the front tops to the back tops. Position the front side properly keeping in mind the buttonholes, like for girls on the left side for boys on the right side.
  • Sew the sleeves at the armholes.
  • Sew the sleeve seams and the side together

Finishing the Baby Sweater

With the help of yarn sew the toggle buttons in place matching the locations with buttonholes.you ca cuff the sleeves for a more cute look.
